Hit me again, how could this be a man?
I bared the pain and tried to fight it
I didn't cry when he shouted
It struck me hard, like a lightning bolt
He says hes my brother, but could this mean more
Hes human, alright, I agree but does he have a right to breathe?
This is such a good topic to write about. No child ever deserves to be abused. It's very nice how the poem is told from the perspective of the child. It gives a different view about abuse. Reader's can learn how children are effected when they are abused by the people who are supposed to love them.
